About Me

Hannah Wallace is an award-winning journalist who writes about regenerative agriculture, climate, wine, food, startups, and more. She writes for Bloomberg, Civil Eats, Dwell, Fast Company, Food & Wine, Inc., Oregon Business, Reasons to be Cheerful, VogueWired, and the New York Times, among other places. She is also a freelance editor. Born in England, she grew up in Westminster, Maryland and Salem, Oregon, and then went on to study art history and literature at Mount Holyoke College. After spending nearly a decade on staff at Travel + Leisure, she left to freelance.

Today she lives with her husband in Portland, Oregon, where—when she's not busy interviewing chefs about climate-related supply chain disruptions or touring pscilocybin clinics—you'll find her jogging in Laurelhurst Park. She also founded the Sunnyside Shower Project, where she still volunteers.
